  • Earlier in July, the finals of the Tripoli, Roy Karaoglan had beaten Samir Khouri 64 108 06 75, as the Lebanese no 1, Elie Attieh did not participate

  • Labib Majdalany had been ranked no 1 in Lebanon in the 30's and was a doubles specialist. It was his last tennis competition appearance in his home country, before his emigration to the US.

  • Gil de Kermadec became a Tennis technique specialist in France with the federation
